Enough with fast fashion -why we prefer slow to fast-

This quote by Mahatma Gandhi is so true and accurately describes the miserable state of the fashion and apparel industry, which has become completely unbalanced due to fast fashion.
We quickly get tired of these cheap clothes and dispose them at the same pace.
It used not to be that way. A good suit or a valuable coat was often worn with pleasure for decades.
Through the experiences we have made in the past, we believe that "the more creativity and care you put into an item, the longer it will last and the more fun it will be.
After all, Rome wasn't built in a day either.
Why fast fashion has an image problem today:
-There is far too much production:
Fast fashion means rapid production of large quantities of clothing at cheap prices in low-quality. They are no longer two or four collections a year. New trends appear almost every week.
-Low quality:
Due to the fast fashion boom in 2000, the quality of the clothing produced has decreased significantly. A logical consequence when a lot is produced in a short time and sold at very low prices.
-Poor working conditions in the factories:
Time pressure, overtime and poor wages. In the manufacturing of fast fashion, it is the workers who pay the price in the end. In addition, workers have contact with pesticides and chemicals that are harmful to health. The infrastructure of the factory buildings also often leaves much to be desired.
-Today fashion, tomorrow trash -Disaster for people and the environment - :
Never before have we owned so much clothing: Since the year 2000, our consumption has doubled, while the wearing time has decreased rapidly. Fast fashion hardly allows a circular economy. Those who think they can recycle clothing by putting it in the used clothing collection are often wrong. Reusable clothing is found less and less often in the sacks. Over 1.1 million tons of clothing end up in German clothing collections every year, of which just 30-40% can be reused.
-Negative impacts on the environment:
The ecological consequences of fast fashion are fatal. The chemicals used for fiber processing and textile finishing often end up unfiltered in wastewater. As a result, many people have no access to clean drinking water.
-Impacts of fast fashion on health:
Not only the health of the workers who come into contact with chemicals during production is at risk, but also our own health when we wear the clothing on our skin.
FAST FASHION IS REALLY NOT FOR US
Less is more. We deliberately produce small and few collections from sustainable raw materials in high quality and attach great importance to fair and sustainable production.
