Q-NOVA® - yarn innovation
from regenerated material
- for our lace -
is a 6.6 nylon fiber certified according to Oeko Tex® Standard 100, GRS (Global Recycled Standard), Higg Index, and EU Ecolabel, which consists of more than 50% recycled material. The company Fulgar from Italy developed this environmentally friendly fiber. The main focus of production is to be as environmentally conscious as possible. The manufacturing process aims to reduce CO² emissions, use renewable energy and minimize water consumption. The main ingredient of Q-NOVA® is nylon waste from Fulgar's manufacturing facilities, which is generated during the company's main production cycle. This consumable waste is unusable for direct further processing and would otherwise have to be disposed of as external waste. The waste materials are processed and reformed in a so-called MCS, a mechanical regeneration process. They are then used as new polymers in further processing for the production of Q-NOVA®.
Q-NOVA® is a lightweight but robust fabric that has the same properties as cotton and polyester. Q-NOVA® is breathable and optimally regulates moisture. It also has a very good color quality.
uses this sustainable nylon fiber for the lace of the organic cotton underwear series "Fancy Organic Cotton". The lace has a particularly soft texture and its elastic and supple properties ensure an optimal fit and comfort. This makes it a perfect match for our feel-good range, which is available in comfortable cuts.
Our lace is certified with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, GRS (Global Recycled Standard) seal and EU Ecolabel.
